Ashley Gillece is the Democrat running to represent Ledyard, Stonington, and North Stonington in the State House of Representatives. Ashley, a single mother from Pawcatuck, has spent more than 15 years volunteering with the causes she believes in, including the Stonington Charter Reform Commission, her son's school, the Stonington DTC, our local libraries, and veterans' nonprofits like the equine therapeutic facility where she still gives her time. For years, even during the pandemic, she worked nights at restaurants to make ends meet for her family, and still found the time to help make our community better. Ashley knows firsthand the challenges our working- and middle-class families are facing, and she knows how to help.
